Jackets

Welding jackets are items of personal protective equipment (PPE) intended to protect welders from metal splatter and high heat by the use of fire resistant and thermally insulating materials. Welding jackets protect workers from sparks, spatter, slag, flying metals and flame. Garments are made from leather, cotton, or composite materials that resist burning and melting. Jackets cover the neck, arms and torso, extending to the hip. Our welding jacket range is designed for TIG, MIG, stick, and general welding tasks while offering durability, dexterity, and comfort.

Aprons

Welding aprons protect workers from sparks, spatter, slag, and flame. They are made from leather, cotton, or composite materials that resist burning and melting. Aprons cover the front of the worker from the chest to the knee or below. They are sleeveless and have an open back to keep workers cool. These are not typically sized, but offer standardized lengths with adjustable neck straps.

Sleeves

Welding sleeves are worn on the arms or upper torso to protect arms from sparks and flames encountered during welding. They are made of leather, treated fabrics, or other heat- and spark-resistant materials. Welding sleeves are worn with welding gloves and other protective clothing as needed. They are pulled on over the hand and wrist and extend up the arm toward the shoulder. These provide adequate protection in low volume welding processes.
